Touch Therapy

FABcamps offers activity breaks to bereaved military families.

I volunteered to provide therapies to families after their strenuous activity days in a team of 2 through Healing Hands Network (with whom I went to Sarajevo). As therapists we support the activity volunteers with their families and join in the activities too. A break to eat and freshen up and then 2/3 hours of treatments for carers and young people (and other volunteers if there’s time) – pretty ‘full on’ but hugely enjoyable, engaging and humbling to be involved in this worthwhile week for families.
